Privacy Policy

Meeting Transcriber (“the app”) is a mobile recording and transcription utility published by TLM Software (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app does and does not handle.
Short version: your audio and transcripts never leave your device. The app processes everything locally and contacts the network only for one-time model downloads and anonymous diagnostics.
The on-device guarantee
Meeting Transcriber’s core design principle is that no audio, transcript, or summary content is ever transmitted off your device. Speech-to-text and AI summarization run entirely on the device using on-device models. The only network traffic the core loop generates is a one-time download of on-device model weights (cached permanently after the first run) — not audio, not transcript text.
What we collect
Anonymous diagnostics
To keep the app stable and improve quality, we use two Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous, aggregate event counts (for example, which features are used and on what platform). Not tied to your identity. No audio or transcript content is included.
- Firebase Crashlytics — automatic crash and error reports that include device model, OS version, and the technical state at crash time. Not used to identify you.
We do not collect audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, action items, or any other meeting content.
Subscriptions
Pro subscription purchases and restore-purchase flows are handled by RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. RevenueCat receives a non-identifying purchase token from the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details, card, or any content you have recorded or transcribed.
Model weights download
On first launch the app downloads on-device model files (speech-to-text and language-model weights) from public model repositories. These requests contain no personal data, no audio, and no transcript content. After the initial download the app operates fully offline.
What we do not collect

- Action items or follow-up drafts
- Your name, email, or contact information
- Your precise location
- Your contacts or calendar
- Any special-category personal data
There is no user account and no cloud sync of any meeting content.
Data storage
All meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, and settings are stored only on your device, in the app’s private sandbox. We have no access to that data. You can delete individual recordings (and their associated audio, transcript, and summary) from within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all data.
Children
The app is a general-audience productivity utility and is not directed at children under 13 (US) or under 16 (EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
This website
Everything above is about the app. This page is part of apps.swtlm.com, and
that website uses Google Analytics to count visits — pages viewed, session
count, referral source. Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set only after
you accept the cookie banner, and nothing is loaded before you do.
apps.swtlm.com is one website: this page and every app page on it share a single analytics property and a single consent choice, so accepting or declining once applies everywhere on the domain. That is the analytics only. This privacy policy covers Meeting Transcriber and its pages, and nothing else — every other app on apps.swtlm.com has its own policy, because every app handles different data. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site’s local storage in your browser.

Your choices
Because there is no account and no cloud storage of meeting content, there is no personal profile to export or delete. You can stop all analytics and crash reporting by uninstalling the app.
To delete a recording and its audio from your device, use the delete function within the app.
