These terms govern your use of the Minesweeper mobile app and the Minesweeper website (the "Service"), provided by TLM Software Design, Inc., a Michigan corporation with offices at 27280 Haggerty Road, Ste C-6, Farmington Hills, MI 48331, USA ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use the app. Minesweeper is not a children's app.

What the Service is

Minesweeper is a free, ad-supported classic Minesweeper puzzle game for iOS and Android. It is fully offline — all gameplay, scores, and settings live on your device. The app displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. There are no in-app purchases.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app beyond what applicable law permits.
• Use automated tools to interact with the app or to manipulate ad impressions.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or the terms of the App Store or Google Play.

Advertising

The app is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. Ad content is determined by AdMob and is subject to Google's advertising policies. We do not control which specific ads are shown. See our Privacy policy for how AdMob handles data.

Intellectual property

The Minesweeper app, its original artwork (Sand theme, icons, UI), and the code that runs it are owned by TLM Software Design, Inc. The core Minesweeper mechanic is unprotected prior art. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

"Minesweeper" as a generic game name describes the mechanic and is not used to imply affiliation with Microsoft Corporation or its products.

No warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that scores will be preserved across all device conditions, or that ad content will be appropriate for all audiences.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TLM SOFTWARE DESIGN, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. BECAUSE THE APP IS FREE WITH NO PURCHASE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $1.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update the app or these terms at any time. Material changes to the terms will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Oakland County, Michigan.
