These terms govern your use of the Blockmatic mobile app and the Blockmatic website (the "Service"), provided by TLM Software Design, Inc., a Michigan corporation with offices at 27280 Haggerty Road, Ste C-6, Farmington Hills, MI 48331, USA ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use the app. Blockmatic is not directed at children.

What the Service is

Blockmatic is a free, ad-supported block-placement puzzle game for iOS and Android: drag block pieces onto an 8×8 grid and clear rows and columns for score. It is fully offline — all gameplay, your best score, and your settings live on your device. The app displays advertising provided by Google AdMob and offers a single one-time non-consumable in-app purchase, "Remove Ads," managed by RevenueCat.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app beyond what applicable law permits.
• Use automated tools to interact with the app or to manipulate ad impressions.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or the terms of the App Store or Google Play.

Advertising

The free tier is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob (a banner and an occasional interstitial). Ad content is determined by AdMob and is subject to Google's advertising policies. We do not control which specific ads are shown. See our Privacy policy for how AdMob handles data.

In-app purchase — Remove Ads

"Remove Ads" is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes all ads on the purchasing account. Payment is processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms; purchases are subject to each store's own refund policy. Purchase verification is handled by RevenueCat — see our Privacy policy for what data that involves.

Intellectual property

The Blockmatic app, its original artwork (the twilight visual theme, candy block palette, icons, UI), and the code that runs it are owned by TLM Software Design, Inc. The core block-placement, line-clearing mechanic is unprotected prior art. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

"Blockmatic" is our own brand name for our particular implementation of this puzzle genre, and its use is not intended to imply affiliation with any other block-placement puzzle game or trademark holder.

No warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that your score will be preserved across all device conditions, or that ad content will be appropriate for all audiences.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TLM SOFTWARE DESIGN, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR ANY IN-APP PURCHASE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $5, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Changes to the app or these terms

We may update the app or these terms at any time. Material changes to the terms will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Oakland County, Michigan.
