These terms govern your use of the Ludo Online: Multiplayer mobile app and the Ludo Online: Multiplayer website (the "Service"), provided by TLM Software Design, Inc., a Michigan corporation with offices at 27280 Haggerty Road, Ste C-6, Farmington Hills, MI 48331, USA ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.
Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK) to use the app. Ludo Online: Multiplayer is not directed at children.
What the Service is
Ludo Online: Multiplayer is a free classic Ludo board game for iOS and Android. It offers offline solo play against an AI, offline hotseat for 2–4 players on one device, and online play in private rooms (by code) or casual public matchmaking (Quick Match), using Firebase for account-free multiplayer sync. Version 1 has no in-app purchases, no coin economy, and no advertising.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app beyond what applicable law permits.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play online matches or manipulate matchmaking, dice, or move outcomes.
- Use display names, or send emotes, in a way intended to harass, impersonate, or abuse other players.
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or the terms of the App Store or Google Play.
Online play and fair use
Dice rolls, turn order, and move legality for online matches are validated server-side (Firebase Cloud Functions) — a modified or tampered client cannot force a dice value or an illegal move. We may suspend a device's ability to create or join online matches if we detect abuse of the matchmaking, reconnect, or reaction systems.
No purchases, no advertising, in v1
As of this writing, the app has no in-app purchases, no coin wagering or economy of any kind, and displays no advertising. If that ever changes in a future version, these terms and the Privacy policy will be updated to describe it before it ships.
Intellectual property
The Ludo Online: Multiplayer app, its original artwork (board, token, and UI design), and the code that runs it are owned by TLM Software Design, Inc. The core Ludo mechanic is a public-domain descendant of Pachisi with no single owner. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
"Ludo" as a generic game name describes the mechanic and is not used to imply affiliation with any other Ludo, Parcheesi, or Pachisi product or trademark holder.
No warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that online matches will never disconnect, or that your stats and saved games will be preserved across all device conditions.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TLM SOFTWARE DESIGN, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. AS THE APP HAS NO PAID FEATURES IN V1, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $5.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may update the app or these terms at any time. Material changes to the terms will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Oakland County, Michigan.
