These terms govern your use of Meeting Transcriber (“the app”), published by TLM Software (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Meeting Transcriber on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app.

Subscriptions

Meeting Transcriber is free to download and use. The free tier includes unlimited recording, on-device transcription, key-points summary, full local history and search, and text/Markdown export, plus a daily allowance of premium functions (currently 3 per day). A Pro subscription ($1/month or $10/year) removes the daily cap and enables unlimited premium functions.

Subscriptions are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Pricing is shown in your local currency at the point of purchase. You may cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account. Refunds are handled by the relevant store. You can restore an active subscription on a new device from within the app.

Your content

You own any recordings, transcripts, and summaries you create with the app. By using the app you represent that you have the legal right to record the meetings and calls you capture, and that recording complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction (including multi-party consent laws where applicable). We make no claim to any content you create.

Recording consent

You are responsible for complying with applicable recording consent laws. Many jurisdictions require that all parties to a conversation consent before it is recorded. The app provides a consent prompt, but it is your responsibility to ensure all participants are aware of and have consented to recording before you start.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and do not use it to harm others or infringe anyone’s rights.

No medical or legal claims

Meeting Transcriber is a productivity utility. It is not a medical device, legal tool, or compliance product. AI-generated summaries and action items may contain errors; do not rely solely on them for legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes decisions.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. AI-generated output may be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TLM Software is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
