These terms govern your use of the Merge 2048 mobile app and website (the "Service"), provided by TLM Software Design, Inc., a Michigan corporation with offices at 27280 Haggerty Road, Ste C-6, Farmington Hills, MI 48331, USA ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU and the UK) to use the app. The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children.

What the Service provides

Merge 2048 is a single-player sliding-tile number puzzle for iOS and Android. It offers four board sizes, a daily challenge generated on the device, statistics, achievements and themes. It has no multiplayer mode, no online leaderboard and no account.

The free tier and ads

The 4×4 Classic board, the daily challenge and the Light and Dark themes are free. The free tier is supported by advertising: an interstitial ad may be shown between games from the second game onward, never during a game. Each game includes one free undo; after it, you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to earn one more undo. A reward is granted only when the ad network reports that the ad was completed, and an ad may be unavailable at any given time.

The one-time Premium purchase

Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It removes all ads and unlocks the 3×3, 5×5 and 6×6 boards, the Neon and Forest themes, and unlimited undo. The Apple App Store or Google Play processes the transaction and controls billing, refunds and store-account eligibility; RevenueCat verifies and restores the entitlement. Prices may vary by country, currency, tax and store. You can restore an eligible purchase on another device signed in to the same store account. Refund requests are handled under the applicable store's rules.

Your saved progress

Statistics, achievements, daily results and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot recover them if you uninstall the app, reset the device or move to a new one, and a game in progress is not kept after the app is closed.

Intellectual property

The app's code, artwork, sounds, music, interface and other original content are owned by TLM Software Design, Inc. The rules of the sliding-tile number puzzle are not claimed as our exclusive property. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to modify, reverse-engineer or tamper with the app to unlock paid features or bypass ads.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains what stays on your device and what the ad network, the purchase service and crash reporting receive.

No warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent preservation of saved statistics, or compatibility with every device or future operating-system version.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TLM SOFTWARE DESIGN, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes and termination

We may update, suspend or discontinue features and may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them. You may stop using the Service and uninstall the app at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Oakland County, Michigan, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
