Frequently asked questions
Is Word Puzzle really free of ads?
Yes. Word Puzzle does not show ads of any kind. No banners, no interstitials, no pre-rolls, no rewarded videos, no native ads, no sponsored content. We do not use advertising-identifier APIs (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android). The app is ad-free by design and we have no business model that depends on advertising.
Do you collect my child’s personal information?
No. The game is engineered so that no personal information from children is collected — see the Privacy Policy for the formal disclosure. The child’s gameplay progress stays on the device.
What does the parental gate do?
The arithmetic puzzle that appears when you tap Parents is meant to limit accidental access by a child. It is a child-design convention, not a substitute for parental supervision or for the parental controls built into iOS (Screen Time) and Android (Family Link).
How do I delete my child’s progress?
Open the app, tap Parents (the gear icon on the Home screen), solve the arithmetic puzzle, then choose Privacy → Delete local data. This wipes all on-device gameplay state. Your purchase entitlement is preserved separately.
If you also want to delete the small amount of analytics data we hold (see Privacy Policy § 4.5), email privacy@swtlm.com with your child’s Firebase instance ID (which you can read off the Parents Hub → Privacy → Diagnostic info screen).
How do I get a refund?
In-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google. They are the merchant of record. For a refund on iOS, follow Apple’s refund instructions. For a refund on Android, follow Google Play’s refund instructions.
If your platform’s policy declines a refund and you believe a refund is required by consumer-protection law where you live, email support@swtlm.com — we will work with you and the platform store on the case.
I purchased on one device. Can I restore on another?
Yes. On the new device, install the app, tap Parents → solve the arithmetic puzzle → Purchases → Restore purchases. Restoration uses your platform-store account (Apple ID or Google account); you must sign in with the same account that made the original purchase.
Can I share my purchase with my family?
If your platform supports it: yes. On iOS, the “All Packs” bundle is shareable via Apple Family Sharing. On Android, it is shareable via Google Play Family Library. The family organizer enables sharing in the platform’s family settings. Free packs are always available and do not need to be shared.
My child can’t read English yet. Are there other languages?
Yes — Word Puzzle ships in English, Russian, and Spanish. The language follows your device’s system language. Each language has its own vocabulary, illustrations, and pack catalogue.
Does Word Puzzle work offline?
Yes. The free packs ship inside the app and play offline from the very first launch — no download wait. Paid packs download once after purchase and then play offline forever.
Where are the apps available?
Word Puzzle is available worldwide on the Apple App Store and Google Play, subject to the platform stores’ country availability.
How do I report a bug or a problem?

- A short description of what happened and what you expected.
- The device model and operating-system version.
- The app version (visible at the bottom of the Parents Hub screen).
