Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms govern your use of CloudQuay (“the app”), published by TLM Software (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CloudQuay on devices you own or control. You may not copy, redistribute, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except as far as applicable law or an open-source licence allows.
Free version and Pro
CloudQuay is free to download. The free version includes every feature and saves one server. CloudQuay Pro is a one-time purchase (the price in your currency is shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy) that removes the one-server limit. There is no subscription and nothing recurring.
The purchase is processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Refunds are handled by the relevant store. You can restore a purchase on a new device from within the app, using the same store account.
Your servers and your responsibility
CloudQuay connects to servers that you add. You are responsible for having the right to access every server you connect to, and for how you use that access. Do not use the app to access systems you are not authorised to use.
The app refuses to connect when a server’s SSH host key has changed or its FTPS certificate is not trusted, and warns you before you use plain FTP. Choosing an unencrypted protocol is your decision, and so is the risk of connecting over it.
In this version the app browses read-only and does not change files on your server.
Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and do not use it to harm others, to gain unauthorised access to a system, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Network and server behaviour varies, and some servers may not work correctly with the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TLM Software is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app or from the servers you connect to.
Open-source software
CloudQuay includes open-source software under its own licences, including SSHJ, Apache Commons Net, Bouncy Castle, libcurl, libssh2 and OpenSSL. Those licences apply to those components.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
