Ages 4–10 · Two games in one

Match & Spot.
Two classic games, one calm app.

Turn cards over to find matching pairs, then grow into hunting every difference between two picture scenes. Memory match suits the youngest players; spot the differences keeps older kids looking closely. Both modes are hand-illustrated, work with no internet at all, and never show a single ad.

Two modes

One app that grows with your kid

Both modes ship together and share the same themed packs, the same gentle hints and the same single unlock. Kids move between them whenever they like.

Memory match

Best for ages 4–7

A grid of face-down cards, from a gentle 2×2 up to 4×5. Turn two over: a matching pair stays up with a little celebration, a mismatch flips back after a pause long enough to remember where it was. Card sets are themed around animals, transport, food, nature, letters and numbers, and the grids get bigger as a kid goes on.

  • Grids from 2×2 up to 4×5
  • Animal, transport, food, nature, letter and number card sets
  • Optional timer or move counter for older kids, off by default

Spot the differences

Best for ages 6–10

Two nearly identical illustrated scenes with three to eight differences hiding between them. Tap one and it is confirmed straight away; tap the wrong place and nothing bad happens: no penalty, no lost progress, no telling-off. Packs are themed around a farm, a park, a cosy room, a town, a forest and life under the sea.

  • 3 to 8 differences in every level
  • Themed packs: farm, park, room, town, forest, under the sea
  • A wrong tap never costs anything

Why parents pick it

Two games, built to one standard

Two mechanics, one purchase

Most apps sell you memory match or spot the differences. This one has both behind a single unlock, so one purchase covers a four-year-old and a nine-year-old at the same time.

Original artwork throughout

Every card and every scene is drawn for this app. No recoloured stock photos, no clip art. In a game about looking closely, picture quality is the whole product.

Hints that point, not tell

Stuck? A hint circles or highlights the place to look, so it works long before a child can read. Hints are free: nothing to earn, nothing to buy.

Packs a kid can pick by picture

Each mode opens on a shelf of illustrated packs, and each pack on a grid of its levels with the difficulty climbing across it. No menus to read, no way to get lost.

Nothing to lose

No lives, no fail states, no progress that disappears. The one timer in the app is optional, off by default, and there for older kids who want the extra challenge.

Phones and tablets alike

Adaptive layouts from day one, so a scene fills a tablet properly instead of cropping away the very difference a child is meant to find.

How it works

Three steps, zero frustration

  1. Pick a mode

Cards or scenes. The choice is made of pictures rather than words, so a four-year-old makes it alone.

  2. Play at your own pace

Turn cards over, or tap the differences you spot. Nothing counts down and nothing punishes a wrong guess.

  3. Celebrate and carry on

A calm little celebration marks each finished level and adds a sticker to that pack's album.

Screenshots

A first look

The app is still being built, so there is nothing real to show yet. These fill in as soon as the first captures exist.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

What ages is Match & Spot for?

Ages 4 to 10. Memory match suits the youngest players, with small grids and no reading needed, while spot the differences gets steadily harder across the packs and holds the attention of kids up to about ten.

Are there really no ads?

None at all. There is no advertising SDK in the app, not even a "kid-safe" network. It is paid for by one optional unlock instead.

Does it work offline?

Yes, all of it, from the very first launch. Every card set and every scene is bundled inside the app, and progress is saved on the device. Planes, car journeys and dead zones are exactly what it is built for.

What does the unlock cost?

The app has not launched yet, so the final price is not fixed. What is fixed: it is a single one-time purchase covering both modes, with Family Sharing, and there is no subscription and nothing else to buy afterwards. The exact price will appear on the store listing.

Is my child's data safe?

The app collects no personal information: no accounts, no names, no photos, no location, no advertising identifiers. Crash and usage reporting is configured for children's-privacy compliance (COPPA), and a parent can switch it off completely from the gated Parents Hub.

Can my child buy something by accident?

No. The only purchase in the app sits behind a parental gate, a fresh grown-ups-only maths question every time, and the App Store or Google Play still asks for your own confirmation on top.
